Job Description
DUTIES: Collaborate with software developers in an Agile environment and provide technical guidelines to product test teams. Develop test cases for a wide range of software components, including user interface, algorithms, and back-end data handling. Write and update test cases, manually execute tests, and interact with a variety of electronic equipment in the lab. Execute tests in automation and utilize complex tools including Jira, Jama, Jenkins, and knowledge of Linux environments and workstation. Design, develop and execute test cases to ensure the quality of the product by proving system functionality, verify business and user requirements are met in Electrophysiology domain area. Manually execute tests/automated test scripts. Ensure that tests have been conducted in accordance with written procedures. Document test results and write test reports. Diagnose problems and report bugs and enhancements in a bug tracking system. Provide technical guidelines, share knowledge, and demonstrate product areas to other team members on ad hoc basis. Act as test lead for projects in determining test methodology, test strategy and test data setup. Participate in daily scrum meetings, product review meetings, and bug triage meetings. Collaborate with software development team, hardware engineering team, field support team, and other cross-functional teams. May require travel/Telecommute. REQUIREMENTS: Employer requires a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related technical field plus 84 months experience in the job offered, Software Test Engineer, Test Consultant, Technical Lead, or related occupation. Experience must include: 1) Agile methodology using JIRA, 2) Test management with Jama software, 3) Continuous build management using Jenkins, and 4) Medical device domain.
