About the Role
Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a Computer Network Operations (CNO) Developer Lead to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced cyber capabilities in support of national defense missions. In this critical role, youll guide a high-performing team of software engineers to build mission-driven tools with a focus on performance, stealth, and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of developers supporting SIGINT, CNO, or cyber operations
Design and implement low-level software in C, C++, or Assembly
Conduct reverse engineering of binaries and vulnerability exploitation
Develop performance-optimized, stealthy, mission-critical tools
Collaborate with analysts and mission teams to translate operational needs into code
Qualifications & Requirements
U.S. Citizenship Required
Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
10+ years in CNO development, vulnerability research, or malware analysis
Prior team leadership experience highly preferred
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with C, C++, Assembly, and scripting languages such as Python
Hands-on experience with tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, and debuggers like WinDbg
