Job Description

Overview

SoftServe is a global digital solutions company, empowering talented individuals to change the world. Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Austin, Texas, we collaborate on over 2,000+ projects globally with clients across the USA, Europe, and LATAM. Our mission is to reveal, transform, accelerate, and optimize the way enterprises and software companies do business, creating bold solutions with impact.

Our team is responsible for product inception, defining new products, and running proof-of-concept initiatives aimed at market success. The scope also includes leading a complex, multi-disciplinary product engineering process that demonstrates exceptional value for the company and its customers.

Responsibilities
  • Own the mobile perspective in cross-platform planning and ensure mobile realities are understood before roadmap commitments are made
  • Partner with the existing Group Product Manager to scale mobile functionality and increase mobile delivery velocity
  • Conduct a structured audit of current web-mobile coupling across the roadmap, identifying dependency types and quantifying coordination overhead
  • Design and implement tracking mechanisms that give both web and mobile teams clear visibility into dependencies early in the planning process
  • Build practical planning frameworks that reflect the asymmetry between mobile and web delivery cadences
  • Anticipate risks before they become delivery issues by identifying where the web roadmap creates unplanned dependencies on mobile
  • Present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership to support informed resourcing and sequencing decisions
  • Act as a trusted product partner who brings sound judgment, clarity, and structure to cross-platform delivery
Qualifications
  • Experienced mobile-first product manager with native app experience
  • Skilled in hands-on ownership of native iOS and Android products through multiple full release cycles
  • Familiar with the full operational weight of native delivery: app store review, release hardening, platform fragmentation, phased rollouts, hotfix constraints, and feature flag strategies
  • Knowledgeable about OS version migrations and how platform changes affect backward compatibility and mobile timelines
  • Technically fluent across the mobile stack
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting Figma designs, spotting when a design is web-first and inappropriate for mobile, and providing first-line feedback before items reach development
  • Comfortable reading API requirements and detecting when an API built for web will fail on mobile, advocating to backend teams accordingly
  • Adept in iOS and Android UX pattern differences and flagging deviations from platform standards
  • Fluent with Jira (tickets, workflows, backlog management) and Figma (inspection and navigation)
  • Seasoned in working with features requiring simultaneous web and mobile delivery, with direct experience navigating coordination, sequencing, and dependency management
  • Competent in translating business needs into structured functional requirements that account for differences between iOS and Android
  • Capable of breaking features into engineering-ready tasks and acting as the first gate before requirements reach developers
  • Communicative and autonomous operator
  • Aligned on mobile expectations and communicating platform constraints clearly
  • Independent in operating with high autonomy, driving progress and closing gaps before the full picture is defined
  • Detail-oriented and understanding that one mistake in requirements impacts multiple platforms, and takes ownership of catching issues early
Benefits / Together We Will
  • Maximize customer and business value delivered through products
  • Learn and apply best practices by collaborating with experienced experts and leaders across organizations
  • Use access to expert communities, paid certifications, and professional events
  • Care for your wellness with a health insurance package
  • Be a part of something bigger than a single project in the professional community
  • Access local-grown, yet global IT minds and exclusive networking opportunities with expert groups and professional events
