An early stage healthcare AI team is hiring their first dedicated data science leader. This is a founder level role for someone who wants to build the data function from scratch and work directly with national payers on real world problems at scale.

You will work across predictive modelling, optimisation, exploratory analysis, claims and EMR datasets, and partner with product and clinical teams to shape features that deliver measurable ROI. This role suits someone who enjoys being both hands on and strategic, with the ability to design systems, processes and modelling approaches that become the foundation of the company's platform.

• Build the data science function end to end
• Develop predictive models and prototype ML applications
• Interpret claims and EMR data to drive product decisions
• Create insights for payer clients and advise on clinical pathways
• Act as a future leader as the team grows

• 8 plus years in data science or advanced analytics
• Strong Python and SQL
• Experience with claims, EMR or complex healthcare datasets
• Someone who thrives in small teams with high autonomy
