• Drive development, integration, and deployment of AI/ML powered capabilities across CHAOS' product lines.
• Translate advanced AI research into tangible, real world, shippable software, especially for defense applications.
• Demonstrate a strong record of academic excellence and creative use of AI/ML in actual products.
• Experience in regulated or mission driven sectors such as aerospace, defense, or critical infrastructure is a big plus.
• Self driven, rapid learner with ability to work independently and collaborate with cross functional teams.

• Learn quickly by reviewing existing code and documentation.
• Productize AI models ensuring robustness, interpretability, testability, and performance in adversarial, low power, GPS denied, or edge deployed environments.
• Manage time across meetings and execution while spending sufficient time learning.
• Travel 10-20% (mostly domestic) if required.
• Work on site at least 2 days per week in San Francisco; 2-4 days preferred.

• BS/MS + 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Python, model serving infrastructure, and model lifecycle management.
• Experience building, testing, and supporting production grade systems.

• Committed to one or more open source projects.
• Experience building AI agents using LangChain or LangGraph.
• Experience with analog or digital RF signal processing.
• Exposure to drones or moving target tracking.

Targeted base compensation: $120,000 - $150,000. This reflects only base salary; additional earnings include bonus, equity, and benefits. Actual offer may vary based on experience, education, and business considerations.
