Overview

Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Senior Member of the Technical Staff to lead the design and development of next-generation electronic hardware.

In this role, you will support advanced projects in processing, computing, and sensor/actuator technologies within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment. Projects typically span 12 to 18 months and include both sponsored contracts and internally funded R&D efforts. The ideal candidate thrives in collaboration, brings recent experience with COTS FPGAs, processors, or SoCs, and can immediately contribute to advanced PCB and digital electronic system designs.

Base pay range

$165,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Lead design and development of next-generation electronic hardware across processing, computing, and sensor/actuator technologies.
  • Support advanced projects in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment with project durations typically 12 to 18 months.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams; contribute to advanced PCB and digital electronic system designs.
Qualifications
  • Security Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance (required).
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience (5-15 considered).
  • Strong proficiency in electronic circuit design, system architecture, and PCB design.
  • Experience with high-speed digital interfaces (DDR3/4, PCIe, Gigabit serial links).
  • Knowledge of power integrity and conditioning circuitry for digital PCBs.
  • Familiarity with FPGA firmware (VHDL/Verilog) and microcontroller programming (C/C++) at a support level.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Siemens Designer/Layout, HyperLynx, ANSYS, SPICE, MATLAB.
  • Experience with miniature electronic packaging, bare die, and chip-scale packages.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage evolving requirements.
