Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack - Product

We're looking for a deeply experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic Product Team. This is a foundational role where you will be at the forefront of integrating AI technologies, including LLMs, embeddings, and other machine learning advancements, directly into our product offerings. You will be responsible for tackling technically challenging and ambiguous problems, designing and building innovative features that push the boundaries of what's possible and deliver exceptional user experiences.

As a Senior Engineer, you will own the entire end-to-end feature lifecycle-from rapid ideation and prototyping to coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring. You will be a key driver of our engineering culture, maintaining high standards of quality and collaborating closely with Product Managers and Designers. • Develop and Deliver New Products: Own the end-to-end delivery of customer-focused applications, building new features, improving existing ones, and creating entirely new products that delight our users.
• Integrate Cutting-Edge AI: Utilize the latest advances in machine learning, LLMs, and other AI technologies to enhance our product offerings and deliver a magical user experience.
• Collaborate with Key Stakeholders: Partner closely with Product Managers, Product Designers, and Platform Engineers to ideate and develop mission-critical applications.
• Drive Rapid Iteration: Conduct rapid prototyping and iterative development to enhance AI solutions based on real-world performance and user feedback.
• Ensure System Reliability: Work on our core functionality to ensure it is stable, scalable, well-maintained, and continuously improving.
• Cultivate Technical Excellence: Continuously grow your technical skills to tackle our toughest challenges related to quality, performance, robustness, and reliability.
• Elevate the Team: Contribute to our team's culture by mentoring other engineers and setting a high standard for engineering excellence.
• Support and Scale: Support and scale highly-available, highly-trafficked services essential for our customers' time-sensitive, business-critical needs.

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience, with a recent focus on leveraging AI/ML technologies.
• Expertise in working with all components of a modern web application, with proficiency in languages such as Ruby on Rails, Python, or Go.
• Strong background in object-oriented programming, systems design, and working with large-scale, low-latency systems.
• Experience using frontier-scale LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini) programmatically for developing applications in production environments is a plus.
• Strong software engineering practices, including coding, unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation.
• Passionate about crafting innovative, user-centric solutions and driven by the challenge of creating elegant and intuitive products.
• Self-directed, independent, and experienced in owning complete features and products from start to finish.
