Full time Information Technology Telecommunications Testing

Job Description

Accton Technology Corporation, founded in 1988, is a leading networking hardware and solution provider. With more than three decades of experience, Accton specializes in the design and manufacturing of high-performance Ethernet switches, routers, and data center networking systems for top-tier global customers. Accton works closely with hyperscale and enterprise customers, providing deep engineering collaboration from early design through high-volume manufacturing.

In the global AI race, computing power is no longer limited by silicon alone, it is highly defined by thermal management. As power density skyrockets, the ability to integrate advanced liquid cooling and optimize power consumption has become the ultimate competitive advantage for the world's leading data centers.

As a global leader in AI networking and open Infrastructure, Accton architects the high-performance cooling solutions that make Hyperscale AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) a reality. We are looking for visionary engineers to join our San Jose team at the bleeding edge of system Integration, solving the thermal bottlenecks that empower the next generation of AI innovation.

Role Overview

We are seeking a System Architect to lead the engineering teams for data center equipment hardware development. A systems architect is a technology expert who develops and implements computer systems or networks for projects. He or she represents the architecture of a system to fulfill specific requirements. Defining the architecture could mean cutting down the system into components, setting component communications and interfaces, and settling on the technologies and resources to be used in the design.

This position serves as a key technical interface between Accton's internal engineering teams and the R&D leadership teams, leading the system- and rack-level liquid cooling solutions, and other spear-heading the leading technologies from concept to reality.

Responsibilities
  • Understand the wanted business or strategy and outcome
  • Decide on the best architecture to achieve what they have defined
  • Break down those outcomes into determined parts, including products, processes, and functions
  • Advise project teams on implementing their suggested solutions
  • Understand software, hardware, and user communications, integrations, and interfaces
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on system level architecture in computing and/or networking equipment disciplines
  • Solid understanding of thermal engineering fundamentals, including:
  • Computing servers
  • Electrical/Optical transceivers
  • Signal integrity and SerDes
  • Thermal cooling
  • Ability to understand and work with complex systems (e.g., racks, CDU, liquid cooling loops)
  • Familiarity with lab environments and system level and thermal/fluid testing
  • Strong engineering problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes using theory, test data, and observations
  • Exposure to or experience with liquid cooling systems (component or system level) is a plus
  • Rack integration experience is a plus, but not required
  • Self-motivated, customer-oriented, and comfortable working in on-site environments
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
  • Team players who are able to work with people from diverse backgrounds
