Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize the intelligent customer service of TikTok shopping. This will be done in close collaboration with product and operation teams to design user centric solutions and convey them conversationally, utilizing cutting edge LLMs.
• Develop and optimize the machine translation service for TikTok shopping to support cross region product listings, buyer seller communication, and commenting. Focus on conversational environment translation models and multi modality text generation.
• Develop and optimize the multi modal AIGC model for product copywriting, including product titles, selling points, descriptions, and live broadcast script creation. Apply advanced AIGC models to reduce human effort and boost business performance.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above with majors in computer science, computer engineering, statistics, applied mathematics, data science or other related disciplines, with 0-1 year of work experience.
• Experience with large language models, natural language generation, machine translation, question answering, machine reading, information extraction, text mining and classification.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language, including but not limited to Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience in big data development, including Hive and Spark.

Preferred Qualifications

• Work experience in e commerce or the Internet industry.
• Practical experience in NLP projects such as dialogue systems, machine translation, or NLP related work in IR/Ads systems.
• Publication of high quality papers, e.g., ACL, EMNLP, COLING, AAAI, IEEE TASLP, etc.

Job Information

The base salary range for this position in Seattle is $118,658 - $168,150 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. Base pay is one part of the total package and may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses, incentives and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary by location.
