Pay: 30/hr to 45/hr - Based on Experience
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing CNC programs to produce precision-machined components that meet quality and production standards. The ideal candidate has strong programming experience, a solid understanding of machining processes, and the ability to work collaboratively with machinists and engineering teams.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $45.00 per hour

The ideal candidate has strong programming experience, a solid understanding of machining processes, and the ability to work collaboratively with machinists and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify CNC programs for mills and/or lathes using CAM software
- Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications
- Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for various materials
- Set up and prove out new jobs on CNC machines
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing programs to improve efficiency and reduce scrap
- Work closely with machinists and engineers to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain accurate documentation and revision control
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality procedures
- 3+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM, or similar)
- Strong understanding of G-code and M-code
- Experience with 3-axis and/or 5-axis machining preferred
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with tight tolerances
- Experience programming multi-axis mills or Swiss-style lathes
- Knowledge of various materials including aluminum, stainless steel, and exotic alloys
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
Pay Details: $30.00 to $45.00 per hour
