JOB TITLE: Research Systems Engineer - Mid-Level Secret Cleared JOB LOCATION: Remote WAGE RANGE : $97k to $98k JOB NUMBER: 26-00548 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Required Qualifications Active Secret security clearance Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field Minimum 4 years of experience in systems engineering, cloud engineering, or related discipline Experience supporting system integration, validation, and engineering analysis Strong understanding of system performance and troubleshooting Certifications DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant certification (IAT Level II required) One or more cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Oracle Cloud) a plus Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting federal or defense programs Familiarity with cloud-based systems and distributed architectures Experience working in high-security or classified environments Experience with system monitoring and performance optimization tools Ability to operate within engineering and research-focused environments JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a Research Systems Engineer to support cloud engineering, system integration, and analysis activities within a federal program. This role focuses on ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based systems and distributed environments. The position supports engineering analysis, system integration, and performance optimization across enterprise cloud infrastructure.
