This exciting Intern position will give exposure to two different I.T. teams during one internship. Ameritas is seeking an IT Intern to drive the business by providing desk side support for IT endpoint equipment and IT Support Center through phone/email/self-service for internal end users. The IT Endpoint role will accomplish work through installation, maintenance, and problem diagnosis of PC hardware, third-party and proprietary software, LANs, and servers in a timely and professional manner via telephone and email communication, and hands-on support, and other tasks as assigned. The Support Center role will assist on password resets, printer and other network device issues, and lower severity IT access ticket requests. Utilize a strong orientation towards customer service, to provide end users a great experience and first call resolution to their issues. This position will combine a basic level understanding of IT and network concepts, with a strong orientation towards customer service, to provide end users a great experience and resolution to their issues and requests.
This position requires daily in-office presence (Lincoln, NE).

This internship will begin in Spring (March, April, May) 2026. This is not a summer internship, as we are seeking an intern for a year-round experience working 12 months (or more). Hours are flexible and can be near full time during the summer, and part time (15-25) during the school year.
