Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality precision parts.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to quality and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis equipment)
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary corrections
- Maintain proper documentation of production and quality checks
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and team members
Qualifications
- 2+ years of CNC machining experience (setup and operation preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Experience with CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, or similar)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
- Ability to work independently and meet production goals
Preferred Skills
- Experience with multi-axis machining
- Knowledge of G-code editing and basic programming
- Experience working with aluminum, steel, or other metals
- Background in a manufacturing or production environment
Shift & Schedule
- Full-time; Hours Mon-Thurs: 6A-4P Fri: 6A-12P
- Overtime may be available based on production needs
