Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team for a 13-week contract assignment. In this role, you will provide technical support across desktop and mobile platforms, assist end users, and ensure smooth IT operations within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for Windows-based desktops and mobile devices
- Image and deploy desktop systems
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end users
- Deliver excellent customer service and technical assistance
- Collaborate with team members to resolve technical challenges
- Maintain documentation and follow IT support procedures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal)
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 1-2 years of relevant IT support experience
- Knowledge of operating systems and databases
- Familiarity with:
- Microsoft Office Suite, Project, and Visio
- UNIX systems
- Oracle and SQL databases
- HL7 standards (including New HL7V)
- Understanding of Healthcare Information Systems
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, HTML, Visual Basic, C, C++, or Perl
