Description:
The San Diego KOA is an award-winning outdoor campground resort looking for enthusiastic people to join our housekeeping team. Sunny southern California allows us to be open 365 days a year offering camping in RVs, Cabins, Deluxe Cabins & tents. Our goal is to create a great camping experience for our guests by offering excellent customer service. Working Hours:
- Seasonal - May 1 - October 31st
- 15-25 hours/week depending on occupancy of the campground
- Sunday - Saturday with most shifts scheduled between the hours of 9am-5pm - Thursday-Monday
- Must be available on Sundays
- $17/hour & up depending on experience
- Reports to the Housekeeping Department Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures customers receive a high level of service consistent with our customer service philosophy
- Communicate with all staff and management using Basecamp System
- Enforce campground policies and implement solutions consistent with goals of park
- Proactive guest management to ensure positive environment for all guests
- Coordinate with Guest Service staff for guest arrivals
- Coordinate with Guest Service staff for problem resolution when applicable
- Utilize creative problem solving skills
- Cleaning and preparation of deluxe cabins, standard cabins, and deluxe tents including linens for guest arrivals which includes:
- Cleaning and Sanitizing of all surfaces, furniture & floors
- Bed making
- Bathroom cleaning
- Kitchen cleaning
- Restocking of consumables and toiletries
- Daily cleaning and maintenance of the restroom facilities
- Janitorial duties on all buildings at the campground
- Laundry of linens for deluxe accommodations as needed
- Complete various duties as assigned by manager which can include but are not limited to: light janitorial duties, assisting other departments in completion of tasks, overall support in daily performance of the campground.
Requirements:

• Able to work with others and work independently
• Professional Appearance and attitude towards guests and fellow team members
• Communicate professionally and patiently
• Be on your feet during shift and able to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Climb stairs, bend, lift, and move repetitively as needed
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Actively communicate both verbally and written
• Speak English, bilingual a plus
