In this role, you will support the installation, customization, performance, and maintenance of enterprise server system software and hardware for the IBM z/TPF Operating System in a federal government environment. You will work directly with IRS computing center infrastructure, providing technical support, problem resolution, and remote training across the z/TPF and SACS processing environments. This is a 100% remote position requiring demonstrated expertise with IBM mainframe environments, including z/VM, and proficiency in IBM programming languages. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience with specialized z/TPF systems and the discipline to maintain rigorous corporate security and compliance standards.Minimum General Experience:The individual shall have knowledge and experience with the hardware and software comprising the IRS z/TPF and SACS processing environments.
