Network Technician

Presidio is hiring a Junior Network Technician for their Georgetown County, SC location. Presidio is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Network Field Technician to support a healthcare client to replace aging switches. This role is ideal for candidates beginning their careers in networking and IT support who are eager to gain hands-on experience with Cisco Systems hardware and enterprise network environments. The technician will assist with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure equipment at client sites / facilities. This position provides excellent growth opportunities within networking and infrastructure support. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and support Cisco networking equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls Assist with deployment of LAN/WAN infrastructure Perform hardware upgrades, cable management, and rack/stack installations Troubleshoot connectivity issues and escalate complex problems as needed Support wireless access point installations and basic configuration Conduct site surveys and document network environments Maintain accurate service tickets and documentation Provide professional on-site customer support Follow safety and security protocols during field visits
