As a CNC Programmer, you'll play a key role in developing precise machining strategies that power the production of complex parts for the medical, aerospace, and defense industries. With a growing book of business and an increasingly complex mix of components, the need for expert programming has never been more critical.

The Work You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Create CNC programs for multi-axis mills, lathes, Swiss machines, EDMs, lasers, and grinders
  • Develop setup sheets, tooling strategies, and in-process documentation
  • Support machinists on the floor with troubleshooting, setup, and process optimization
  • Collaborate with engineering and NPI teams on new products and DFM
  • Optimize cycle times, validate tooling solutions, and drive continuous improvement
  • Assist with CAD/CAM modeling and fixture design when needed

Machines, Controls & Software

You'll work with equipment such as:

  • Machines: Multi-axis mills, mill-turns, Swiss lathes, EDMs
  • Controls: Fanuc, Siemens, Mazak, etc.
  • CAM Software: Siemens NX, Mastercam, PartMaker
  • Inspection Tools: Micrometers, calipers, indicators, CMM (preferred)

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 5+ years of precision CNC machining experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on CNC programming experience
  • Proficiency in CAM software and G-code/M-code
  • Strong understanding of complex machining processes

Preferred:

  • Experience with new product introduction (NPI)
  • Background in lean manufacturing or CI
  • Familiarity with GD&T and ERP systems
  • Prior experience supporting high-mix / low-volume production
