Job Description

Seeking Desktop Support Specialist for tracking, updating, and movement of Information Technology desktop and network assets.

Duration: contract position through: 06/30/2026
Work location: Columbus, OH (onsite)

Specific duties:
-Updating meta-data is required for asset management.
-Add newly acquired assets to the system.
-Reassignment of assets, based on ServiceNow incident tickets.
-Coordinated and organizing disposal of ODOTs computer and networking outdated equipment.
-Maintaining organization of working area.
-Append asset tags to newly acquired equipment.
-Reporting from the asset management system to aid in biennium reconciliation
-Mobile AV support
-Unpackaging and movement of equipment.
-Follow quality standards.
-Analytical and customer service skills.
-Communicate accurate and useful status updates.
-Ability to work in a team environment.
-Complete assigned tasks.
-Strong communication skills; both written & verbal

Required skills & experience
