About the Role
This isn't your typical "culture" role they need someone who can literally feel when the vibe is off and course-correct before it impacts velocity.
What You'll Do:
Conduct daily "vibe checks" across all departments and flag anomalies to leadership
Design and implement vibrational strategies that align with our mission to build AGI responsibly
Own the energy of all-hands meetings, offsites, and high-stakes investor presentations
Develop KPIs around team morale, creative flow states, and psychological safety
Serve as the organizational barometer if something feels weird, you'll know first
Curate Spotify playlists that enhance focus during deep work sprints
Mediate "vibe conflicts" before they escalate to actual HR issues
Partner with our Chief People Officer to ensure hiring decisions pass the vibe test
Required Skills and Experience
Requirements:
7+ years of experience reading rooms (professionally or as a highly observant human)
Proven track record of making awkward situations less awkward
Deep understanding of startup culture, AI ethics, and why both matter
Exceptional emotional intelligence can sense a Slack thread going sideways from three channels away
Experience with mindfulness practices, team dynamics, or organizational psychology preferred
Must be comfortable saying "the vibe is off" in executive meetings
Bonus: Synesthesia or claimed ability to see auras
