Work Location: Position may telecommute / work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. Job Duties: Support our mission critical production environments including validation, test, and development environments. Support mission critical production systems, including off-hour deployments over nights and weekends or to support on-call team members. Support Oracle Databases, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), and Oracle Data Guard along with other applications and databases. Automate routine database administrator (DBA) tasks using Python and Shell scripts. Triage issues and provide root cause analysis. Provide solutions to improve system performance tuning / optimization. Support capacity planning and forecasting. Proactively monitor and quickly address identified application or system issues. Clone, patch, and upgrade the Oracle database and EBS / HIGLAS (Healthcare Integrated General Ledger Accounting System). Backup and restore the database and applications. Maintain and support the synchronization of our production and disaster recovery (DR) environments. Support migrations of data and code to various environments. Support and maintain Oracle Identity Management suite which facilitates single sign-on solutions to HIGLAS applications. Use of Oracle Applications / Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Identity Management (Oracle IDM), Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Oracle Internet Directory (OID), Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Linux. Requirements: This position requires a Masters degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field. Plus 6 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Database Administrator, Database Manager, Programmer Analyst, Systems Analyst, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelors degree in any field of study plus 8 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 4 years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Identity Management (Oracle IDM). Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
