Job Description
Use experience with Couchbase N1QL, XDCR, and Oracle Dataguard to monitor the metrics of production Databases. Use experience with remote site Root Cause Analysis to troubleshoot urgent outages/issues, restore Database service. Use experience with LIVE systems Couchbase Clusters on Linux, EDB Postgres Advanced Server, and Oracle Enterprise Edition to discuss the upgrade roadmap of Systems & Mobileum Products with Clients. Use experience with maintenance activities in Virtual Machines/On-Premises Environments to ensure Database service outage is minimal. U.S. National and local travel to various unanticipated clients worksites within the U.S. 2-4 times per year. Requirements Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, or related field; 5 years of experience as Senior Database Administrator, or related job title; Experience with Couchbase N1QL, XDCR, and Oracle Dataguard; Experience with remote site Root Cause Analysis; Experience with LIVE systems Couchbase Clusters on Linux, EDB Postgres Advanced Server, and Oracle Enterprise Edition; Experience with maintenance activities in Virtual Machines/On-Premises Environments; and U.S. National and local travel to various unanticipated clients worksites within the U.S. 2-4 times per year.
