Position title : Mainframe Administrator Location : Atlanta GA (Remote) Duration : Long Term Contract Job Summary: We are looking for a Mainframe Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's mainframe computer systems. You will ensure the systems run smoothly, securely, and efficiently, supporting business operations. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and manage mainframe system performance and availability. Install, configure, and upgrade mainframe hardware and software. Perform regular system backups and recovery processes. Apply patches and updates to maintain system security. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues or failures. Work with IT teams to support application and data integration. Maintain system documentation and provide technical support when needed. Requirements: Experience with mainframe systems like IBM z/OS, JES, TSO, VTAM, etc. Familiarity with job scheduling tools (e.g., CA-7, Control-M Understanding of RACF security, JCL, and SMP/E.
