SMV Recruiting is looking for a CNC Programmer to add to the team for our manufacturing client in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of CNC programming experience working with Matsuura machines, Siemens, Fanuc machines and Haas machines, utilizing Fusion 360, MasterCAM and Solidworks. You will be responsible for programing 12 3-axis horizontal and vertical machines. Responsibilities:
- Program 12+ 3-axis and/or 5-axis machines such as: CNC Matsuura, Siemens and Fanuc machines
- Utilize programs such as Fusion 360, Mastercam and/or Solidworks to program machines
- Read and utilize blueprints to programming correctly
- Streamline and create step by step processes for operators to use
- Train and step into a managerial role when needed
- Fill in when needed on the production floor
Requirements:
- 5-10+ years of CNC programming experience is required
- 5-10+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC equipment
- Ability to streamline processes to create faster production time
- Ability to read and utilize blueprints to aid in the programming process
