Bachelor's degree in computer science plus 5 years of experience or equivalent knowledge. Experience with mobile development in iOS (Objective C/Swift, Xcode) or Android (Java/Kotlin, Android Studio) front end development. Proficient with Python, Go, scripting, and functional languages. Practical experience with contemporary Java frameworks like Spring Boot or equivalent technologies to develop reliable microservices architectures. Expert level knowledge of object oriented design and design patterns, and passionate about writing high quality and well architected code. Experience in building high performance and cloud based scalable web services. Collaborated on cloud deployed services hosting APIs and backend processes talking to data storage and caching layers, event buses, and other services. Strong knowledge of engineering procedures - collecting and analyzing requirements, creating secure and scalable code with unit tests, joining code reviews and documentation; experienced in open source technology stack. Ability to oversee periodic on call duty as well as out of band requests. Preferred Qualifications Strong independent problem solving skills.
