We are seeking two multi-skilled Infrastructure engineers to join our operations team that provides network, security, server, VMware and storage support in our docklands, E14, London datacenter.
Although we are looking for self-starters with a passion to work on high-end systems for company with high technical standards; we are also happy to consider one of the two available positions to be filled with a more junior Infrastructure Engineer with the capability to grasp additional IT disciplines quickly if shadowing one of our other staff; or if attending training as part of our staff development.
We are a fairly small team of specialists and the entire staff including directors are either technical specialists or former technical specialists with certifications ranging from CCIE to VCP, so there is a great opportunity to develop your career alongside some sharp, experienced specialists.
Our core technical capabilities are: Networks, Security, Storage, Microsoft Servers & VMware.
We are hoping to find people with abilities in at least three of our core areas, but a desire to become proficient in all five.
Furthermore, being a team player with attention to detail and the ability to communicate with customers and other team members with clarity, positivity and respect is a must.
You should have a desire to reciprocate knowledge with others as much as a desire to learn from your colleagues.
In growing the team at BlackBox Hosting, the aim is to either hire the same caliber of person as our current projects or senior ops team, or alternatively to hire and develop keen Junior Infrastructure Engineers or 2nd/3rd line Support Techs.
Salary will be dependent on hands-on-experience and certifications for technology, such as:
CCNA, CCNP, VCP, MCSE, MCTIP, KEMP, 3PAR Storage, RDP
