Twin Networks, Inc.

Job Description Job Description We're looking for a systems engineer who wants to build, not just maintain. The core of this role is endpoint management, security optimization, and automation - designing Intune policies, managing the M365 security and compliance stack, scripting onboarding/offboarding workflows, and keeping client environments tight and standardized. You'll also handle client support requests as they come in - our ticket volume is low and our clients mostly have internal IT, so we're there to support systems and keep networks running. This isn't a help desk job with "room to grow." This is an engineering role with client-facing communication as part of the work. What You'll Be Doing: - Building and managing endpoint policies in Microsoft Intune and Autopilot - Managing and optimizing the security and compliance stack - Kaseya 365, SaaS Alerts, Secure Score hardening, conditional access, DLP, and M365 tenant configuration - Proactively reviewing client environments for security gaps, policy drift, and optimization opportunities - Scripting and automating repeatable processes - onboarding, offboarding, monitoring, remediation - using PowerShell and Rewst - Supporting and maintaining client infrastructure across Windows Server, M365, networking, and virtual desktop environments - Supporting Citrix and VDI deployments - session management, profile optimization, and troubleshooting - Handling client support requests via phone, email, and remote tools when they come in - Documenting systems, processes, and client environments - Collaborating directly with the founder on projects, architecture decisions, and client strategy What We're Looking For - Real experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and Autopilot - not just "familiar with" - PowerShell scripting ability - you should be comfortable writing and troubleshooting scripts, not just running ones someone else wrote - Solid foundation in Windows Server, Active Directory, M365 administration, and networking fundamentals - Familiarity with MSP security tooling - SaaS Alerts, Kaseya 365, or comparable platforms - Interest in compliance and security posture management, not just break-fix - MSP experience preferred - you understand multi-tenant environments, RMM tools, and PSA workflows - Experience with automation/orchestration platforms (Rewst, Power Automate, or similar) is a strong plus - Experience with virtual desktop environments - Citrix, AVD, or RDS - Experience with Azure cloud services - Azure AD, AVD, resource management - is a strong plus - Experience with Hyper-V, XCP-ng/Xen, or other hypervisors is a plus - Clear communicator who can talk to clients without turning a 15-minute call into a two-hour operation Company Description Twin Networks has been the outsourced IT department for Connecticut businesses since 2006 - managed IT, cybersecurity, and compliance for professional services firms and regulated industries. We're rebuilding how we deliver: automation-first, platform-based, focused on outcomes instead of billable hours. Small team, high standards, and direct access to leadership.
