This position is a great way to get started in the legal field and learn valuable skills.POSITION SUMMARYThe Special District Assistant supports daily operations related to water termination processes across multiple districts. This role ensures accurate tracking, timely communication, and consistent follow-through with clients, taxpayers, and water departments.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESReview multiple districts for water termination candidatesPrepare various water termination letters and tagsReceive and make phone calls daily from and to clients, taxpayers, and water departmentsMaintain documents within e-Cabinet systemCorrespond daily via email with clients, taxpayers, and water departmentsFollow up regularly on current and older water termination statusesMaintain and update our Access database systemTrack correspondence sent, received or requiring further action due to water terminationsMeet daily and weekly deadlines related to the water termination districtsTrack payment agreementsAdditional clerical or administrative duties, as needed or assignedQUALIFICATIONSPrevious office experience required.Bilingual (Spanish) skills a plus.
