Suburban Propane, a nationwide leader in propane and energy services, is seeking a Sr. Financial Systems Analyst to optimize and support our core financial platforms. In this role, you will own the configuration, reporting, and integrations of key systems used by Finance to serve our residential, commercial, and industrial customers. You'll partner closely with Finance and IT to automate processes, strengthen data integrity, and deliver insightful reporting that supports safety-focused, long-term decision-making in a complex, multi-location utilities environment. Responsibilities Lead administration and configuration of financial systems (ERP, budgeting, reporting). Design, build, and maintain financial reports and dashboards for leadership. Drive system improvements to enhance data integrity, automation, and process efficiency. Partner with Finance and IT to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions. Manage integrations between financial systems and related operational platforms. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities through system enhancements. Develop and maintain system documentation, data standards, and controls. Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate fixes, patches, and upgrades. Train finance users on tools, reports, and new functionality. Support audits and compliance by ensuring accurate, well-controlled financial data. Required Skills Financial systems administration (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Net Suite, Workday, or similar) Advanced Excel and financial modeling Financial reporting and dashboard development (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) SQL or query tools for data extraction and analysis ERP configuration and workflow design Systems integration and data mapping General Ledger, AP, AR, and budgeting process knowledge Data governance and internal controls Business requirements gathering and documentation Testing, change management, and user training
