CalmHR Inc, a Cambridge-based HR and benefits consulting firm, is seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant to support accurate, compliant delivery of HR, payroll, and benefits services for our clients. In this role, you will execute test plans, validate HRIS and payroll configurations, audit client and employee data, and document defects and issues. You will partner closely with HR consultants to support user acceptance testing, standardize QA procedures, and improve workflows. Responsibilities Execute test plans to validate HR, payroll, and benefits system updates and configurations Perform data audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance in client records Document defects, track issues, and collaborate with consultants and vendors on resolutions Support user acceptance testing and gather feedback from internal HR consultants Maintain test scripts, checklists, and QA documentation for recurring client processes Review reports, imports, and exports for formatting, logic, and data integrity Assist with onboarding new clients by validating initial data loads and system settings Monitor recurring processes (enrollments, payroll runs, file feeds) for errors or anomalies Help standardize QA procedures and recommend improvements to workflows Prepare clear QA summaries and communicate risks and findings to project leads Required Skills Quality assurance testing Test case creation and execution Defect tracking and documentation Data analysis and reconciliation HRIS or payroll system experience Benefits administration systems familiarity Excel and spreadsheet analysis Report validation and auditing Basic SQL or data query skills Written and verbal communication

Description: Perform general repairs and maintenance on company facilities, equipment, and property Complete preventative maintenance on machinery, tools, and equipment Assist with mechanical repairs on heavy equipment, trailers, railcars, and other company assets Operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, saws, drills, impact tools, and other maintenance equipment Perform basic welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication as needed Assist with painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs Load, unload, move, and organize materials and equipment Operate forklifts, skid steers, telehandlers, man lifts, and other equipment as trained Inspect equipment and report any maintenance or safety concerns to management Keep shop areas, work sites, and company property clean and organized Perform yard maintenance including mowing, weed trimming, snow removal, and debris cleanup as needed Follow preventative maintenance schedules and complete assigned work orders Assist other departments with labor tasks as business needs require Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and maintenance supplies Follow instructions from supervisors and be willing to perform a variety of job duties as assigned Communicate with managers regarding repair status, equipment issues, and material needs Adhere to all company policies and procedures Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations Always make safety a priority Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred Previous maintenance, construction, mechanical, or general labor experience preferred Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills Experience using hand tools and power tools required Welding and fabrication experience preferred but not required Forklift or heavy equipment experience preferred Valid driver's license preferred Ability to read and follow maintenance instructions and safety procedures Strong mechanical aptitude Self-starter who works well independently Dependable, motivated, and resourceful Ability to prioritize work and complete tasks with minimal supervision Good communication and teamwork skills Alert, focused, and detail-oriented Physically and mentally fit Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical labor throughout the workday Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed Follow all site safety protocols PI78fa92a6f5-
