Required Skills: 3-6 years of CNC programming or advanced setup experience in a precision machining environment Proficiency with CAM software, preferably TopSolid, or similar advanced platforms (MasterCAM) Hands-on experience with multi-axis machining (4-axis or 5-axis indexed) Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles Support for machine prove-outs and troubleshooting of machining issues such as chatter, tool wear, and dimensional variations Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning Nice to Have Skills: Experience with mill-turn or live tooling lathe machining Aerospace or tight-tolerance component experience Familiarity with advanced machining strategies and process documentation Comfort working directly on the shop floor Preferred Education and Experience: Relevant technical training or certifications in CNC programming or manufacturing technology Prior experience supporting complex machining projects in a precision environment Other Requirements: Willingness to collaborate closely with machinists during setup and production runs Dedication to standardizing processes and capturing tribal knowledge Ability to contribute to process improvements and cycle time reductions Comfort working on the shop floor and engaging in hands-on activities Seize this opportunity to grow into a technical leader in precision machining.
