Our teams work closely with customers to design, implement, and support complex infrastructure environments, backed by strong internal engineering resources and partnerships across Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Microsoft, AWS, and other leading technologies. We are continuing to build out our Boston engineering presence and are hiring a Senior Network Solutions Engineer to support a defined set of key client accounts in a highly visible, client-facing delivery role. Position Overview This is a post-sales, customer-facing engineering role focused on delivering and supporting network solutions across a small group of strategic accounts in the Boston market. You will serve as a senior technical resource responsible for implementation, design validation, and ongoing support of enterprise networking environments - working closely with customers, internal architects, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery. This is not a ticket-driven support role - it is a hands-on, project-focused position with direct customer engagement and ownership across deployments. This is a hands-on engineering and architecture role focused on complex Cisco-based environments across large-scale, production networks. This individual will serve as the primary senior engineer for assigned enterprise clients, providing advanced troubleshooting, architectural guidance, and hands-on resolution within large-scale production environments. Each engineer is aligned to a set number of enterprise accounts and operates as a trusted technical lead within those environments. Key Responsibilities Serve as senior technical lead for assigned enterprise clients Design, troubleshoot, and optimize complex Cisco routing and switching environments Act as first-level TAC escalation for advanced networking issues Provide architecture guidance and solutions engineering for ongoing initiatives Perform deep-dive troubleshooting across Layer 2, Layer 3, and overlay architectures Support enterprise WAN, LAN, campus, and data center network infrastructures Engage directly with client engineering teams and infrastructure leadership Maintain documentation, standards, and best practices across managed environments Technical Requirements - Cisco Focused Senior-level Cisco networking expertise across: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, advanced route manipulation EVPN / VXLAN architectures Cisco ACI fabric environments Nexus 9K, Catalyst 9K platforms SD-WAN (Viptela / Meraki) SDA / intent-based networking High-availability and multi-site data center design MPLS and enterprise WAN optimization Strong troubleshooting experience in large-scale, production enterprise environments Experience integrating network security controls (segmentation, firewall insertion, micro-segmentation strategies) Automation exposure such as Python, Ansible, or API-driven network configuration is a plus Experience operating at or near CCIE-level depth (certification not required) Arista Experience - Plus Arista EOS and CloudVision environments EVPN / VXLAN fabric design using Arista spine-leaf architectures Experience with large-scale data center deployments built on Arista switching platforms Exposure to automation frameworks within Arista ecosystems Troubleshooting leaf-spine architectures in high-availability environments Ideal Background 8+ years of enterprise networking experience Prior experience in Managed Services, VAR, MSP, or consulting environments preferred Experience supporting Fortune 500 or large enterprise clients Comfortable operating independently and owning client relationships from a technical standpoint Highlights: Remote anywhere within the greater Boston region days per week in front of clients in the region True senior-level engineering ownership - not a NOC role Architecture, troubleshooting, and client advisory responsibility Direct exposure to complex enterprise production networks Competitive compensation aligned with top-tier engineering talent Interviews are moving quickly for qualified candidates.
