This role is responsible for ensuring all systemsincluding POS, network, security cameras, and devicesare fully operational, secure, and optimized for daily business operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of troubleshooting issues quickly across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities Technical Support & Maintenance Provide day-to-day IT support for stores, warehouse, and office staff Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in real time Install, configure, and maintain computers, iPads, printers, and mobile devices Support Lightspeed POS systems and related integrations Network & Systems Management Monitor and maintain internet connectivity (Comcast primary / AT&T backup) Configure and manage routers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi networks Ensure system uptime across all locations Security & Surveillance Install and maintain camera systems, alarms, and security devices Respond to alarm alerts and system failures Coordinate with vendors for advanced security support when needed Store & Warehouse Support Support POS terminals, receipt printers, barcode scanners, and cash drawers Assist with new store setups, relocations, and system upgrades Ensure all technology is operational before store opening Software & Systems Integration Assist with integrations between: POS (Lightspeed) Accounting (QuickBooks) Payroll (ADP) CRM (HubSpot) Support internal dashboards and reporting tools Preventive Maintenance Perform routine system checks across all locations Maintain IT inventory (devices, cables, equipment) Document issues, resolutions, and system configurations Qualifications Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role Strong knowledge of: Networking (routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi) POS systems (preferably retail environments) Windows, iOS, and mobile device management Experience with security camera systems and low-voltage installations Basic understanding of cloud systems and integrations Ability to troubleshoot quickly and independently Skills & Competencies Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills High attention to detail and organization Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent issues Excellent communication and teamwork Self-motivated with a hands-on mindset Work Schedule Full-Time Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM Saturday availability as needed (on-call or scheduled) On-call support for urgent store issues Compensation & Benefits Competitive annual salary (based on experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) Career growth opportunities within a growing company Company-provided tools and equipment Work Environment Multi-location support (stores, warehouse, office) Combination of on-site and travel between locations Fast-paced retail environment with real-time problem solving Ideal Candidate Profile This role is perfect for someone who: Likes being hands-on and solving problems in the field Can manage multiple locations and systems at once Understands the importance of uptime in retail operations Is comfortable working independently with accountability
