Drexel Building Supply, a fast-growing Wisconsin construction materials leader, is seeking an IT Intern to support our team-first, values-driven culture. In this role, you'll help set up and maintain computers, mobile devices, and basic networked equipment across our locations. You'll troubleshoot user issues, assist with software installs and updates, and document tickets and procedures. Working alongside experienced IT pros, you'll gain hands-on experience, training, and exposure to real-world systems while contributing to a fun, caring, community-focused workplace with strong growth potential. Responsibilities Assist with setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers, mobile devices, and peripherals Support end users with hardware, software, and network issues via ticketing system or in person Install, update, and troubleshoot standard business and construction-related applications Document IT procedures, inventory, and support requests accurately Help maintain user accounts, permissions, and basic security practices Support POS and warehouse/yard technology used in construction supply operations Collaborate with IT team on small projects and system improvements Participate in training to learn Drexel's systems, tools, and security expectations Required Skills Basic hardware troubleshooting Windows operating systems Microsoft 365/Office productivity tools Basic networking fundamentals User support/help desk Ticketing systems Device imaging and setup Account and permission basics (AD or similar) Documentation skills Time management and prioritization
