A Systems Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining core IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments. This role supports system stability, security, and performance while independently resolving moderately complex issues and contributing to infrastructure projects and continuous improvement initiatives. What You Can Expect to Do as a Systems Administrator: Administer and maintain servers, storage systems, networking components, and cloud environments Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex system and infrastructure issues with minimal supervision Implement standard system configurations, updates, and security hardening practices Support IT initiatives such as system migrations, upgrades, and integrations Monitor system performance, availability, and security, taking corrective action as needed Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on troubleshooting and best practices Participate in backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes Manage or support small-scale infrastructure projects What We Are Looking For in a Systems Administrator: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience 3-7 years of systems administration experience Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server administration Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V Basic to intermediate experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) Experience with system patching, updates, and vulnerability remediation Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery processes Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management concepts preferred Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills Why Join IP Corporation? Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, EHS, and IT teams to design and enhance MES capabilities, including: Dispatching & work execution / WIP tracking PLC enhancements and integration support Electronic work instructions Recipe and parameter management Traceability and genealogy (serial/lot lineage) Inline quality monitoring and SPC Deviation and NCR workflows OEE and production performance monitoring Ensure MES capabilities meet data integrity standards, validation requirements, and regulatory compliance. Lead MES testing, training, and deployment readiness activities across manufacturing sites.
