Job DescriptionJob Description FishEye Software is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to support system integration, testing, and validation, helping deliver secure high-performance solutions in support of mission-critical defense operations. This position requires an Active Secret Clearance and is 100% on-site in Maynard, MA at our FishEye headquarters. Key Responsibilities: Support system requirements development, decomposition, and traceability to enable hardware and software integration and testing Integrate software components into tactical defense systems and assist system-level evaluation Execute system integration, test, verification, and validation activities in simulated and operational environments Perform software and system-level testing, troubleshooting, and data analysis to evaluate system performance against requirements Develop, maintain and update systems engineering documentation, including test plans, procedures, system models, performance benchmarks, and technical reports Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment Required Skills: This position requires an Active Secret Clearance; US Citizenship is required. B.S. or M.S. degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline Minimum of 4+ years of experience in systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test; we will consider candidates with varying levels of experience Proficiency in software testing, system verification and validation, and data analysis techniques Experience with requirements management, traceability, and decomposition methodologies Experience working with radar systems or similar complex defense systems Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly document and present technical information Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage complex technical challenges Ability to work 100% on-site Desired Skills: Demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work Proficiency in Python, C++, and MATLAB Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices and system modeling languages such as UML or SysML Experience using systems engineering tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, and Cameo Familiarity with algorithm optimization techniques and technical trade studies Exposure to formal verification and validation (V&V) processes for defense systems Willingness to travel up to 10% to support integration, testing, and mission execution activities FishEye Software is proud to be recognized as one of the Boston Globe's Top Places to Work 2025.
