JOB SUMMARY The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for several different tasks to accomplish OT's mission including, but not limited to, the setup and installation of virtualized micro-datacenters, the design and deployment of plant-wide industrial networks, and the configuration of software for handling concerns such as thin client management, backups, cybersecurity, and devops pipelines. As a Senior Engineer, you will be expected to provide value beyond being an individual contributor by providing technical direction, mentoring, coaching, and supporting company-wide initiatives. Up to 25% travel may be required to support our client's industrial networks, incident response, and network assessments. A valid driver's license is required. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Work within cross-functional teams including Automation Engineering, Hardware Design, and Software engineers to deliver comprehensive project deliverables Work directly with Cybertrol's customers to define OT-related project requirements and help design OT network-based solutions Communicate effectively with project team members for status, deliverables, and technical needs Manage configuration and commissioning of industrial datacenters, including hardware and network equipment Responding to urgent network-related incidents Perform site operational technology assessments, develop site assessment reports, and provide recommendations for improvement Create system documentation for both internal and external audiences Assist with proposal generation and estimating Mentor and support junior engineers Contribute to company-wide initiatives Refine and implement OT standards REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other IT/OT-related field and 7+ years of professional experience or 10+ years of directly relevant professional experience Relevant experience within an industrial/manufacturing OT environment Expert-level knowledge of and Associate or higher-level certifications held with VMware, Cisco, Windows Server, cybersecurity, and industrial hardware/software DESIRED EXPERIENCE Familiarity with Rockwell Automation products a plus PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS Office Work: Office desk/cubicle environment Extensive computer use Site Work: Overnight travel from a few days to several days at a time.
