Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native software services and automation capabilities that support data ingestion, movement, validation, and operational workflows. Build backend services, utilities, and automation using Python to support secure, scalable data operations. Develop and maintain integrations with AWS services, APIs, storage platforms, messaging services, and backend systems. Support deployment and sustainment of services in Kubernetes and containerized environments. Build and enhance event-driven architectures to support asynchronous processing, workflow triggers, and automated system responses. Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation supporting reliable software delivery across environments. Apply DevSecOps best practices to software development, release management, vulnerability remediation, and secure deployment workflows. Support infrastructure-aware software engineering, including logging, monitoring, observability, resiliency, and performance optimization. Collaborate with data engineers, platform engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders to design and implement robust technical solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across cloud infrastructure, application services, integrations, and operational workflows. Document services, deployment patterns, interfaces, and operational procedures to support maintainability and sustainment. Required Qualifications Active DoD Secret clearance. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline and 8+ years of relevant experience; or Master's degree in a related field and 6+ years of relevant experience. Strong hands-on experience with Python for backend development, automation, and service integration. Experience working with AWS cloud services such as S3, Lambda, RDS, Redshift, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, IAM, or similar services. Experience deploying or supporting applications in Kubernetes and containerized environments. Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and supporting automated software delivery workflows. Experience working in DevSecOps environments with an understanding of secure software delivery and operational controls. Experience designing or supporting event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing patterns. Experience building software applications or platform services that support data processing, integration, automation, or operational workflows. Experience integrating with APIs, cloud services, storage systems, and backend platforms. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud and distributed system environments. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional technical teams. Preferred Qualifications Top Secret clearance and/or SCI eligibility. Experience supporting enterprise data platforms in DoD or other federal environments. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and tools such as Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, or similar ecosystems. Experience with event-driven architectures, asynchronous processing, and workflow automation. Experience with infrastructure and container-based environments such as Docker, Kubernetes, or related technologies. Familiarity with observability, monitoring, alerting, and operational support for cloud services. Experience supporting secure data access, metadata-driven workflows, or governed data operations. Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments supporting enterprise systems. Interview Process Video interview required and may include a technical assessment. Clearance sponsorship is not available for this role. Compensation and Benefits IntelliTech is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The annual salary range for this position is $140,000 to $225,000, and actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including job-related skills, relevant experience, certifications, training, and level of seniority.
