Senior Software Engineer - Robotics & AI Stealth Startup Bay Area (Hybrid) We are a stealth-stage robotics company building the next generation of embodied AI systems - machines that learn from humans and act safely and autonomously in the physical world. Our team is small, technical, and mission-driven, combining robotics, machine learning, and scalable software systems to push the frontier of intelligent automation. What you'll do Design and implement core software for real-time robotic perception, control, and teleoperation Build robust data pipelines integrating vision, force, and motion signals Contribute to planning, simulation, and deployment infrastructure for embodied AI Collaborate across hardware, ML, and systems teams to bring robots from simulation to the real world What we're looking for 5 years of experience in rust and or modern C Strong foundation in robotics, controls, or distributed systems Experience with real-time or GPU-accelerated compute Ability to move fast, write clean code, and operate in an ambiguous, high-impact environment Nice to have Familiarity with ROS 2, MuJoCo, Genesis, or Isaac Sim Background in manipulation, teleop, or multi-modal sensing Startup experience or previous work in early robotics efforts Why join us You'll work directly with founders who have built successful robotics companies before, shaping the foundations of a system meant to redefine how machines assist people.
