Senior Software Engineer - Wallet Core (Wallet Core Team) Location: San Francisco, CA Onsite: Full time at BitGo's San Francisco office. BitGo is a leading digital asset infrastructure provider. This position focuses on building an API first platform to help businesses launch crypto products. Responsibilities Design and build scalable APIs, libraries and services for an API first platform Own features from inception to deployment and customer integration Expose and document functionality to UI, third party developers and internal tooling Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design and ship new features Write clean, maintainable and efficient code Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement Work closely with product managers, designers and engineers to refine requirements Mentor peers through code reviews and best practice education Required Skills & Experience At least 6 years of back end/server side development experience Strong algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis Expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL and MongoDB Experience with JVM languages (Kotlin or Java) is preferred RESTful API design expertise Microservices and service oriented architecture experience Unit and functional testing, debugging Git/GitHub, branching, code review tools, CI tools A fast paced, adaptable mindset Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or related field Understanding of cryptocurrencies and blockchain Preferred Qualifications Experience building consumer facing crypto products Proven track record of public facing API deployment Microservice development in Spring Full stack experience, familiarity with React Client or business partner engagement experience Familiarity with digital wallets, clearing/settlement, lending, trading, accounting systems Why Join BitGo? Compensation & Benefits Base salary ranges from $180,000 to $220,000 USD; equity, annual performance bonuses and additional benefits are included.
