Description Application Deadline: 20 February 2026 Department: Delivery Location: Hybrid The Senior Solution Architect leads technical solutioning and owns the development of compelling, high-quality technical proposal content for complex federal and DoD pursuits. This role sets the technical narrative, shapes win strategies, and ensures proposals are clear, compliant, executable, and competitive. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end technical solution development for complex federal and DoD proposals and serve as primary author and reviewer of technical volumes. Produce and enforce clear, persuasive, customer-focused proposal language aligned with evaluation criteria and win strategies. Analyze complex DoD and federal solicitations to define solution requirements, risks, and competitive opportunities. Partner with Capture, Business Development, and Proposal Management to shape win themes, discriminators, and solution messaging. Develop and review architecture diagrams, solution frameworks, and technical narratives that clearly articulate the proposed approach. Lead solution reviews, color team reviews, and executive briefings, incorporating feedback and driving improvements. Ensure alignment across technical approach, staffing, pricing, and contract requirements. Support oral proposals, demonstrations, and customer engagements as required. Mentor and review work produced by mid-level architects and technical contributors. Drive continuous improvement of technical proposal content, processes, and reusable artifacts. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 7+ years of experience in solution architecture or technical leadership, with significant experience authoring technical proposals for federal and DoD customers. Exceptional proposal writing and editing skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear, compelling, and compliant proposal narratives. Strong understanding of DoD and federal acquisition processes, proposal structures, and evaluation criteria (Section L/M). Experience leading cross-functional technical teams in deadline-driven proposal environments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration platforms. It would be great if you also had Experience supporting multiple DoD agencies or mission areas. Hands-on technical background (e.g., software engineering, systems architecture, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, DevSecOps pipelines, AI/ML implementations) that informs solution design and proposal credibility. Expertise in IT modernization, cybersecurity, cloud, DevSecOps, AI/ML solutions, and no-code/low-code platforms such as Appian, ServiceNow, and Salesforce. Familiarity with APMP/Shipley best practices; APMP certification preferred. Experience supporting oral proposals or executive-level briefings.
