Overview Join a boutique quantamental hedge fund as our Lead AI Platform Engineer. Spearhead the buildout of a new internal data lake and platform. Build AI/ML-powered systems and hire, onboard, and manage a small team. Disrupt a mature industry and redefine how our strategies are executed. Your Role Technical Leadership Design data platform architecture with ingestion pipelines, storage layers, and modern stacks Build ML workflows for automated analysis and pattern recognition Integrate RAG, LLMs, and AI tools for document processing and querying Team Management Hire and onboard/manage 3-5 specialists across data engineering, backend, and ML research Work with the existing team to integrate new capabilities and manage project deliverables Required Experience 6+ years building ML data platforms, deploying models, and feature engineering Demonstrated proficiency in LLM fine-tuning, system prompting, and multi-agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI) Strength in time-series forecasting, gradient-boosting models, and data-normalization pipelines Advanced SQL, Python, Cursor, RAG, distributed computing with database scaling expertise Team leadership and project-delivery experience with a proven track record of selecting and evaluating optimal technology stacks Deep NLP expertise for extracting insights from unstructured text Enterprise AI integration with relational and vector databases Why This Role Matters You'll leverage and enhance our internal IP and time-tested processes to extend our 30-year winning track record in public markets.
