Senior Software Engineer in Test- Surgical RoboticsSenior Software Engineer in Test- Surgical RoboticsHealthCare Recruiters International provided pay range This range is provided by HealthCare Recruiters International. Base pay range $175,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr Additional compensation types RSUs Direct message the job poster from HealthCare Recruiters International Our client is an exciting, clinical-stage innovator within the advanced electromechanical medical device space. They have immediate need for a Senior (possibly Staff ) Software Engineer focused on Testing, DevOps, and includes some Coding (C++ & Python). Responsibilities Include: Lead efforts to update our development environments, streamline build/test workflows, and scaleup the systems that support both R&D and manufacturing Own and improve systems that span developer experience, CI/CD pipelines, system administration, test automation, development environments (e.g., CMake, colcon, GitLab CI) Lead software design verification testing activities, in support of clinical submissions Ability to flex into adjacent domains like general ROS2 development or cloud infrastructure, depending on interest and evolving needs Develop and maintain internal Python and C++ tools that accelerate developer workflows, CI automation, and robot test infrastructure Support Linux system administration tasks including system upgrades (e.g., Ubuntu 22 04), network configuration, and computer provisioning Define and document development environment standards, Docker-based toolchains, and onboarding guides. Own the development tool chain and set a vision for what good looks like within the team Ensure traceability across software/hardware in regulated systems. They have an immediate opportunity for an accomplished, creative, Senior (possibly Staff) Software Engineer to support their product development needs. This is largely an onsite position (1 day/week from home) so we can only consider qualified candidates who live within a commutable distance to the corporate office (greater San Jose area). Responsibilities Include: As part of a culture of continuous integration, lead software (focus- test and stabilization) for weekly minor and monthly major releases to support clinical testing and R&D feedback.
