Responsibilities Design, implement, test, and maintain features in core systems within our platform Build a scalable, fault-tolerant system for synchronizing millions of data records into various systems Develop an intelligent system for matching activity (social media, emails, calls, text messages) using complex business rules and machine learning Contribute to core infrastructure, including user management, authentication, and authorization Build monitoring and alerting tools to prevent downtime; participate in weekly on-call rotations to resolve infrastructure issues Become a product expert and customer champion Requirements 2+ years of professional experience working on backend systems in an enterprise environment Experience programming in Javascript Experience with an enterprise-grade stack for scalable apps including messaging broker, in-memory storages, NoSQL and key-value databases Strong knowledge of TDD, unit and automated tests paradigms DevOps as a Culture mindset; AWS experience is a plus Strong knowledge of HTTP stack and REST principles for integration with 3rd-party vendors Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline About Pony Express HQ Pony Express HQ is a fast-growing startup building the next-generation smart marketing automation solution for messaging platforms.
