We're looking for a senior iOS engineer who wants to build fast, elegant, and reliable mobile experiences and help shape one of the most ambitious mobile products ever. You'll join a small, elite team and play a foundational role in crafting a next generation interface. We have a world-class iOS team, with our CTO being the former iOS lead of Facebook Stories, and tech lead being a former iOS tech lead at both Amazon and Instacart. We're a seed-stage startup backed by top investors including Forerunner, Neo, Abstract Ventures, the Chainsmokers, Arash Ferdowsi (Dropbox founder and CTO), Ime Archibong (VP of FB Messenger), Max Mullen (co-founder Instacart), Scott Belsky (Chief Product Officer, Adobe) and more. LOCATION: SF Bay Area, in person (Burlingame) 5 days a week Specific Skills Skills : 5+ years of hands-on experience building iOS applications 2+ years of professional experience delivering production apps using SwiftUI Proficient with Combine or similar reactive programming frameworks Skilled in using Swift concurrency features (e.g., async/await, Tasks) Familiarity with SQLite is a plus Strong grasp of software design patterns and system architecture best practices Excellent problem-solving ability, from optimizing user experience to integrating backend data Clear communicator capable of explaining technical concepts and trade-offs to non-technical team members Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Essential traits: Ambitious - Wants to build something great, and defaults to "why not" rather than the status quo.
