Overview We are looking for a seasoned Cyber Security Specialist to join us as a consultant and help elevate our security products. You will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, monitoring, and fine-tuning of security infrastructure, along with threat detection and incident response. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in managing SIEM/XDR platforms, handling firewalls, and implementing enterprise-grade security frameworks. Employment Employment Type: Consultant Experience Required: 5-8 Years Responsibilities Implement, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade SIEM and XDR tools. Proactively monitor networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions. Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents and conduct post-event analysis. Design and implement mitigation strategies to minimize cybersecurity risks. Work with DevOps and IT teams to embed security best practices across infrastructure. Draft and update security policies, standards, and documentation. Conduct regular audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing support. Train internal teams on cybersecurity awareness and incident handling protocols. Required Skills & Tools XDR/EDR solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender) Firewalls and network security (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA) Strong understanding of Incident Response, threat intelligence, and log analysis Familiarity with frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent 5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, preferably in consulting or managed security services Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, GCIA, or CompTIA Security+ are a strong plus Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills Work on cutting-edge products in a fast-paced environment High ownership, visibility, and impact Flexible work model, and a collaborative culture Opportunity to shape brand and product direction from the ground up
