At Kinetic Engine Systems, this position plays a critical role in translating engineering designs into optimized CNC programs that drive precision, efficiency, and repeatability across multi-axis machining operations. The Work You'll Be Doing In this role, you will: Develop CNC programs for complex multi-axis milling operations Select tooling, cutting strategies, and toolpaths using CAD/CAM software Validate programs using simulation software (Vericut) Create tooling lists, setup sheets, and process documentation Analyze and troubleshoot machining issues on the production floor Optimize programs and setup times for continuous improvement Modify existing programs and processes as needed Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality teams Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures Maintain organized work areas using 6S practices Machines, Controls & Software You'll work with advanced aerospace manufacturing equipment such as: Machines: Multi-axis CNC milling centers (including 5-axis) CAM Software: Siemens NX (preferred) Simulation: Vericut Inspection & Documentation Tools: Setup sheets, process documentation, GD&T interpretation Materials You'll Work With Aluminum Titanium Nickel-based superalloys Other aerospace-grade materials These materials align with Kinetic's expertise in ultra-complex engine components.
