Job Title: Financial Systems Analyst Job Description: Summary The Financial Systems Analyst supports financial operations by analyzing and optimizing financial and core systems data, generating insightful reports and collaborating on the implementation of new financial technologies. The position works closely with internal partners to ensure accuracy, efficiency and continual improvement of financial data and reporting processes. Qualifications Banking industry experience preferred with experience related to banking core functionality, integration and efficiency. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis and report writing tools (e.g. Excel, BIC, Power BI, Crystal Reports etc.) Automation and problem-solving skills. The ability to utilize tools to automate repetitive tasks. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Detail oriented along with critical thinking skills. Be able to draw conclusions from data - not just report it - and communicate in a simple, straight-forward manner. Effective written and oral communication skills include the ability to prepare concise and coherent financial narratives and communicate with all levels of the organization. Strong organizational skills include the ability to organize and successfully complete simultaneous projects. Job Title: SBA Reporting Specialist Job Description: Summary The SBA Reporting Specialist is responsible for filing reports with the Small Business Administration (SBA) to initiate the collection of the SBA guarantee amount on defaulted and problem loans within the Bank's SBA Portfolio. This position acts as the primary liaison with the SBA for all pending guarantee requests and works in close collaboration with Relationship Managers, the SBA Division, and internal departments to ensure complete, accurate, and timely filings. This role is based in Olathe, KS and reports to the AVP, Resolution Management Operations Leader. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Prepare and file Uniform Purchase Package (UPP) reports, Care and Preservation Reports, and Wrap Up Reports with the SBA. Collaborate with Relationship Managers (RM's) in the preparation of these reports. Serve as the primary associate responsible for communication with the SBA on guarantee requests. Provide supplemental information to the SBA as requested in a timely manner. Coordinate responses to any denied claims with the head of RMG and the appropriate RM Track and monitor expenses associated with problem SBA loans and OREO. Coordinate inspections on SBA problem loans. Track problem SBA loans. Prepare reports for the SVP of RMG, Problem Loan Committee (PLC), and senior management as needed.
