Partner with the vendor to resolve technical challenges, incorporate best practices, and deliver solutions that meet internal client needs efficiently. Maintain in-depth knowledge of product solutions and provide direction and input into PG&E's technology roadmap. Enhance and tune PG&E's electrical distribution Network Model by performing engineering analysis to support advanced application requirements and convergence. Participate in functional testing to validate system performance, ensuring the system accurately incorporates electrical theory, reflects distribution grid operational behavior, and meets PG&E's acceptance criteria. Lead a review and modernization effort to ensure field apparatus construction standards and operational procedures support current and future systems functionality. Deliver tier-2 application support and assist control center operations by ensuring optimal application performance and resolving issues related to the network model, telemetry, and overall system functionality. Hands-on experience with one or more commercial EMS/DMS/ADMS systems (e.g., Schneider Electric, GE, Siemens, Hitachi, OSI, etc.) and associated advanced applications, network models, and SCADA/telemetry interfaces.
