Job Description Job Description Position: React Native Technical Lead Location: Atlanta, GA - Onsite Duration: Long Term Role: Onsite Technical Lead - TSC Kiosk Project Job Description: We are seeking a React Native Technical Lead to provide hands-on technical leadership for a consumer-facing mobile application supporting iOS and Android. The role will focus on application stability, performance, security, production support, architecture, and feature delivery. Key Responsibilities: Lead the technical design, development, code reviews, troubleshooting, and release readiness of the React Native application. Own mobile architecture, technical roadmap, coding standards, reusable components, dependencies, and technical debt. Drive production support, incident triage, root-cause analysis, performance optimization, and application stability. Work closely with Product, UX, Backend, Cloud, DevOps, QA, Security, and offshore/onshore teams. Lead integrations with REST APIs, authentication, payments, loyalty, ordering, analytics, messaging, and notifications. Strengthen unit, integration, component, and end-to-end testing and prevent regression in critical customer journeys. Manage mobile CI/CD, builds, signing, environment configuration, feature flags, releases, rollbacks, App Store, and Google Play deployments. Mentor engineers and provide technical direction across distributed teams. Required Skills: 8+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in mobile development. 3+ years of strong hands-on React Native experience with TypeScript/JavaScript. 2+ years in a Technical Lead/Senior Engineering Lead role. Strong knowledge of React, React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript, Hooks, Navigation, State Management, and mobile lifecycle. Experience with iOS/Android native development using Swift/Objective-C and Kotlin/Java. Hands-on experience with Hermes, Metro, Gradle, Xcode, native modules/TurboModules , and dependency management. Experience with REST APIs, authentication, token management, deep linking, push notifications, payment/analytics SDKs. Strong understanding of mobile security, secure storage, OWASP mobile security, secrets management, and data protection. Experience with Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, Appium, XCTest, or Espresso. Experience with CI/CD, App Store Connect, Google Play Console, and mobile release engineering. Experience with Datadog, Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, Quantum Metric, or similar monitoring tools. Strong production troubleshooting, debugging, performance optimization, and incident-management skills. Preferred: Experience in retail, restaurant, ecommerce, hospitality, or high-volume consumer applications. Experience with AWS, mobile-to-cloud integrations, resiliency, caching, retry mechanisms, and degraded/offline functionality. Knowledge of mobile accessibility standards. Experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex, or other AI-assisted development tools. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
